I've had more than one person tell me that Sarah looks a little like Katy Perry, the singer. I don't know if she's flattered by that or not, some people don't particularly care for Miss Perry.
Sarah and her bridesmaids were perhaps the most colorful and fun group of girls I've ever photographed. Sarah is a very passionate woman. She has a real passion for rescue dogs, and for her soldier, Derek who serves in the US Air Force.
I'd never even heard of the Alsace Hotel and Resort in Castroville Tx. But when I got there, I could understand why Sarah was so excited about it. The view is amazing. It's a really visually interesting place. I enjoyed shooting there, and highly recommend this venue to other brides.
